05/28/2004: "Shaun's back!"
Hi everyone!
I have returned! I am so sorry I haven't been writing in the journal more often. I really don't have any other excuse except that I have been pretty sick with a cold for the past two weeks. But now i'm back, and I have a couple of things to share with our great fans.
First of all, I want to thank all of you for coming out to our shows and giving us one of the most rewarding experiences of our careers. I can't tell you what a joy it is for us to have a smiling child come running into our arms to give us a big hug before the show. It makes all of the travelling well worth it. It also brings a smile to our faces to see your kids dancing and singing along with us out in the audience during the show. I think this will have been one of our most memorable tours because we were able to meet with you, our fans, after each show and hear how much of a positive effect Hi-5 has had on your children's lives. This, I think, is what drives everyone on our team (Helena Harris, our producer and creator, Cicc, the actors, and everyone else), to create the highest quality, and the most enriching, show possible. Thank you, again, for your support.
And, lastly, I would like to give a special thanks to Deb and our fans for putting together the most amazing photo album i've ever seen of our tour. It contains pictures and little entries of us and our fans from various shows across the country. I don't think that we could have asked for a better gift! Believe me when I say that we will cherish this gift for ever :).
Well, I am really looking forward to seeing all of you guys again soon. Please keep tracking our website for future tours and information. I have a feeling that we will be back on the road pretty soon. Keep watching the show, and let Discovery Kids know how much the show means to you guys when you get the chance. We want to keep these shows coming :). Talk to you guys soon.
Love, Shaun
