06/14/2004: "I don't know if we're supposed to be writing in here, but..."

I HAVE to express to you all how wonderful it was to see everyone at the Javits Center last Wednesday. What saviors you all were! I really don't know how we could have a performed to a bunch of people in business suits. I was so happy to be able to have my buddies out there supporting us.

Also, your gifts were so exciting! The tote bag full of Hi-5 goodies was really incredible. And thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for the early birthday present...I was not expecting it at all. By the way, of course I remember my Illinois girls and their butterfly coin! But, the presents, the pictures, the story about the adopted cat that then had kittens:)! What an exciting day it was. Thanks for you support. Thanks Chrissy for flying out with my Maura and acting as delivery person. And to all the people who drove for hours, or who didn't have to drive at all, to be there with us on that hot day.

Oh, one more thing! Thanks to everyone for being so sweet to my mother on the message board. When she told me that she had mistakenly emailed the entire fan site she said, "I made a mistake, but I don't regret it!" She said that she was overwhelmed and really touched by the sweet replies that she received from all of you. Thanks so much...since we're away from each other so often, I think it really means a lot to her.
