08/27/2005: "VANCOUVER ROCKS!!"
Whoa...what an awesome day today!! I'm sitting here in my hotel room, ready to pass out from today's busy day. I'm so tired...but boy was it worth it!! We're here in Vancouver and we just did 2 shows at the PNE Fair. First of all, walking into the fair made me feel like a kid again. The sound of loud music, kids screaming on the rides, the sight of balloons and over sized inflatable hammers and the sweet smell of popcorn and funnel cakes...very cool!
The shows today were great!! We're so psyched to be back up here in Canada and to make our live debut here in Vancouver. The audiences were awesome. Can you believe that there were over 4,000 people at our first show?? CRAZINESS! Everyone at the fair thought that Friday was going to have the smallest crowd. It was huge! But if you can believe it..even more people showed up to the second show today!! Yay!!
It was such fun. What a big party! I just want to thank all of our fans that came from all over to see us today. We had such a great time and I can't wait to do it tomorrow too!
To anyone we missed during the meet and greets...we owe you a Hi-5 and a HUUUUUUUGE HUG! Thanks for jamming with us today...it was such an amazing show. Thank you for that experience.
Okay...well it's past midnight now(special shout out to August baby Karla!), so I should fire up my SLEEPMASTER 3000 and get some sleep on:) I just wanted to share our joy with you today.
I love you all and I look forward to seeing more of you tomorrow afternoon, and tomorrow evening then Sunday.....

ps: Another special shout out to all the amazing kids and families we met at the hospital on Thursday. Thanks for keeping us entertained with your waffle blocks, plastic race tracks,baseball cards and magic princess shoes...oh, and of course the hugs,smiles and giggles. We had so much fun with all of you! And to our boy Lucas...sorry we missed you buddy....we'll come and visit you soon!!
