Subject: ALOHA FROM PHOENIX,AZ!!
Aloha all!!
Long time no "talk!!" How is everyone? Well, it's been crazy since we've been back from
Australia. I went back to San Francisco to hang out with some friends,catch a Giants
game,grab some of my stuff there and then drove down to Los Angeles for the big move.
It was so nice to visit with friends down there in LA and I'm so excited to move back down!
Although I will really miss San Fran!! My apartment won't be ready till July though, so I'm
hanging out with some family in Phoenix,AZ until it's ready for all my shoes!! hee hee.
BTW, for those of you down here in Arizona...MAN IS IT HOT!! Luckily the place that I'm
staying at has a pool....fun!!
Okay, so Chicago was awesome..hot...but FANTASTIC!! It was so great seeing so many
familiar(and new) faces at the Meijer shows. Thanks so much for your support guys, we
had a blast. It was so great performing in front of our fans again after being away for so
long. Rock on!!
The book fair was a blast too!! Everyone out in the audience was GREAT!! What amazing
singers and dancer y'all are!! I'm so sorry we weren't able to have a meet&greet.
Hopefully we'll be back in Chicago(and I'm sure we will be) and we can Hi-5 and hug and
all that good stuff.
We were there for a week and had a lot of fun. Besides the shows, we did some publicity
stuff including a morning show and a radio show(that was fun) and we all got to hang out
with some friends in the area. "Wicked" was in town, and I have some good friends touring
with that show. It was so cool to hang out with them again. We had done the "Miss
Saigon" tour together and haven't hung out in awhile. They have a baby girl now(17-
months) and we had such a great time together! I got to babysit her one night and I've
made a new HI-5 fan!! Her Mom says that she asks for it every morning now:) yay!! Karla
and I also got to go to the Museum of Science and Industry and checked out some of the
exhibits that they had going on there.
We all love Chicago, so it was really nice to be there. It was nice to be able to walk around
the city this time too. The last time we were there...it was so cold. I remember Karla and I
tried to walk down the street backwards one night!! It was freezing!! Our bus froze in that
city remember?? Craziness!
Alrighty, well I just wanted to pop in to say Hello! Can't wait to see you guys at Sesame
Place. I've never been there before so I'm really stoked to check it out. Maybe I'll get to
meet Mr. Snufflelupagus,or Big Bird, or Grover or Oscar(maybe we can try and make him
laugh:) And the Today Show!! That's going to be awesome!! I'm really looking forward to
that one!! Yay!!
Okay, I again have "talked" your ear off..thanks for listening! Miss you guys!! I'll write
again soon!!

Subject: back to the summer sun!
Hi you guys,
It was so much fun to be back in the summer sun singing and dancing
with our awesome Hi-5 fans! This last week in Chicago was really a
blast. For those of you who weren't there, we performed two shows in
Bloomingdale, appeared on WGN radio and TV, and then performed two
more shows at the Target Book Festival in Printers Row (downtown
Chicago). I have to admit, it was a little hot dancing around on the
stage, but it felt great to be outside. I love those little 25 minute
shows because we get to see everyone's faces. Thank you everyone for
showing up and giving us all that great energy. We love talking with
you guys at the shows as well. Thanks for writing about that you guys.
Well, are some of you going to make it to the Sesame Place gig in
Philly? That should be really fun. What about the Today Show
performance? I have to say that we are psyched about that!
Alright, i'm off to enjoy the sun. I can't wait 'till you guys see
the new episodes. We believe they're starting in late August/ early
Sept. Bye!
